A picture of the award winner’s car will be displayed on an 8 foot screen, so that everyone can appreciate the winner’s efforts

After the awards presentation, everyone is invited to adjourn to the Interlude Lounge to continue the weekend’s fun.

Sunday May 24th:

230+ Horsepower

NHRA Drag Races

We will meet at the show site at 9:00AM and line up for our caravan to ESTA.

9:30AM we will caravan to nearby Empire State Timing Association’s drag strip in Cicero, NY for NHRA sanctioned drag racing. The entrance fee for those who wish to drag race is $20.00 per car. Spectator entrance is FREE for the day for those not racing. We will provide sandwiches, soda and chips for all at a nominal $3.00 per person.  http://www.estadrags.com/

Come and find out what your “baby” will REALLY do in the quarter mile! We had a blast in the past 5 years and we really turned some heads with our performance.

We are the only show on the East coast that is offering drag races as part of our show. This part is purely voluntary on the entrants’ part and has no reflection on show judging or car classification. Trophies will be awarded in non-turbo, stock turbo and modified classes. Note: PTs with Stage 1 turbo upgrades are considered modified. Dash plaques will be provided by ESTA for all those that participate in the racing.

All other Chrysler brand vehicles, including trucks and Jeeps are invited to participate in time trails for the same $20.00 entry fee. Since this is our first year where we are including all Chryslers we will have to make a race day decision about trophies for other entries based on the number of cars that participate. All cars that attend the races, whether you race or not we be awarded a commemorative dash plaque.
